Update: Shahar is now flipping over no problem from her stomach to her back. She can do 360's and is babbling away. Dudi swears she said Abba today, and we'll let him beleive so. She grabs her feet, and plays with her toys between her feet as well. Now things are going to start moving so fast...

Update:

Shahar is 4 months old today. She weighs 6.2 Kilo's(50th percentile) and is in the 95th percentile for height. She is hitting every milestone just as she should..tfoot tfoot!

She hates the pacifier, but has taken up thumb sucking which is good and bad. On one hand, she can go to bed awake and soothe herself to sleep without our help, but on the other hand we can't take her thumb away from her when we want her to stop. Oh well, u have to take the good with the bad :-) She is always trying to talk, saying agi, ohohoh, ruuuu, and all sorts of interesting things. She sleeps on the average of 8-9 hours straight, gets the breast, and goes back to sleep for an additional 3 hours. She tries to sit up now if she is at all in a semi-reclined position, so those stomach muscles are getting strong. She is really starting to enjoy swimming class, and we can see a drastic improvement in her concentration and self confidence from week to week. She is just the happiest baby, all smiles MOST of the time. Even the car has become a breeze.

Noam is nearly 2 1/2 going on 5. She has turned into a little woman overnight. She is a cleaning freak, always putting things away, cleaning up, wiping the table and setting up her toys and crayons in single file. Even at gan they say that she helps set the table for lunch, makes sure everyone has their cup, makes sure everyone is eating otherwise she tells them that they should eat more. At nap time, she makes sure everyone is in their bed helps tuck them in and then she herself will go to sleep, but not until everyone has been taken care of. This motherly instinct of hers is cute but it means that she is getting the least amount of sleep out of everyone at gan. Noam is such the chatterbox, but when she wants to be alone she lets you know. She is still the same independent girl she was from day one. She wants to do everything by herself...even fall asleep. She says " Get out of my room, i want to go to sleep." A bit insulting, but funny none the less.

If these are the type of offspring we produce...we should just keep them coming, because it is a true pleasure to bring up these girls.

Shahar's second swimming lesson

Update: Shahar now weighs approximately 6.2 Kilo, she like her sister was is in the 90th percentile. She started sleeping through the night quite early, and now sleeps an average of 9 hours a night, so we are THRILLED about that! Shahar hates the car or our driving, we are not sure which, but it makes every drive a challenge. We hope she'll grow out of that one soon. She also started saying Agiiii....

Noam is so funny....yackety yack all the time. Really loves her sister, takes care of her and worries about her. She has gotten used to the idea that Shahar is here to stay. Noam loves our family trips, and is a tough trooper...

This family thing isn't as hard as we thought it might be...the girls make it easy for us.
