Update:
Well summer vacation came and went. Safta Mira (Saftush) was here for a month and a week..and boy that went by so fast! Noam really got attached and still looks for her every morning, it is quite sad. Shahar too enjoyed time with Safta as they shared a room, and sometimes even a bed :-). Which means that we got attached to safta too, because she was such a help. It sure does take a village....
We miss her!
Noam: Had her 2nd birthday and it was a big hit. It lasted about a week because it started on the 17th at the Gan and continued until her birthday party at home a week later. She really had a blast.
Noam has turned into quite the little lady...yackity yack all the time...it is a pleasure to listen to her wit.
She started a new gan this week and that went smoothly without a hitch.
She is also starting to get used to the idea of having a sister, as she talks to her and hugs her, snuggles with her, puts a pacifier in her mouth when she cries, and calls her Hamuda (cutie). Although she does show signs of jealousy it is mostly taken out on me. That too shall pass.
Shahar: Had her first Doctor visit and is gaining weight nicely. She breastfeeds every 2-3 hours during the day and hamsa hamsa hamsa (knock on wood) sleeps at night 6.5 hours straight. She isn't a big napper during the day, but so long as I get that good sleep at night, i can deal with anything she dishes out during the day.
At 5 weeks she is smiling and cooing.
