The Weekends Heat Wave

Noam has another photo shoot

Too bad there is no audio here...the girls had the giggles

Those teeth are coming in so fast, and she loves to show them off

cooling off in the above 40 degrees C. (100+ F) weather.

"What's this?" (one second later this handful was in her mouth)

Noam keeps Shahar company in her baby pool

Cousins Roie and Guy come for a visit that is when the action begins...

On your marks!

The gentlemen give Shahar their hat...

and she wasn't left out of the party...in fact...she was the hit
Quick Update: Today Shahar went to Tipat Halav and was weighed, measured and checked. She has grown so much:
Weight: 8.5 Kilo (19lbs)
Height: 69 cm (27 inches)
Leaving her in approximately the 70th percentile for both.
She eats meat, fruits, vegetables and crackers and soon we will add yogurts and cheeses.
Noam is just a riot! We can't believe the things that come out of her mouth sometimes. She is SOOOOO smart, it is easy to forget she is only a bit over 2.5 years old. We went shoe shopping yesterday just Mom and Noam, and we had a great time together. She walked around the store like she owned the place, showing me what she thought was pretty. Before we went apparently Dudi told her to tell me not to spend too much money...so she says to me in the car, "mom, don't go crazy with the money" (although, the way she was walking around the place, I think Dudi doesn't have a sympathetic ear in Noam) She makes us laugh all the time.

a trip downtown Chicago

Shahar tries on Noam's Purim Costume (Minnie mouse)
Update:
We have returned from our trip to Chicago to spend time with Saba and Safta Raba, and Saftush. Good quality time with the family, and they got to know the girls better. Food was delicious! Lots of Pizza, polish sausages, ribs, Italian beef, Cheeseburgers, pizza and more pizza... but we are happy to be back on a regular Mediterranean diet.
Noam has turned into a little woman...still bossing us around. She especially enjoyed the trip to Chicago. Played in the snow for the first time in her life, threw a few snowballs and bonded deeply with Saftush. Everyday she experienced something new, and if u ask her, her favorite thing on the trip was "Hamigdal Hagavoah" (We went up to the 95th floor of the John Hancock). Quite exciting....
For Shahar every week there are major advancements. During the three weeks in Chi-town, she sprouted two teeth, started saying abba (although i don't think she knows what it means), got up on 6 and even rocked back and forth, does 360's and scootches forward and backwards, eats 3 solid meals a day and just smiles and gabs to everyone. We love this age...she is so beautiful and such a happy baby.
I will add a Chicago Part II when i get some pics from saftush....so until then...enjoy!
