Happy New Year

Update: Rosh Hashana came and went, and we enjoyed the time off with the girls. Both of them are simply a joy. After always giving giving giving to them...they give it back 100x's now. Kissing and hugging and tackling, playing, giggling and laughing...it makes it all worth while.
Noam is such the little lady...saying just the funniest things...
She said to Tamar (her cousin) after putting on her jacket, "Tamar, do you think i look pretty in this jacket?" Oh my what will be when she is sixteen....we are in trouble....
Dudi brought home a present from work for the holiday and gave it to Noam and she said, "Abba...you are a genius for bringing me this present!"
Dudi was sitting in the living room in his underwear, and Noam comes up to him and asks him, "why aren't you wearing a shirt and pants?" He jokingly said, "I have no more money, i gave it all to your ganenet(preschool)"....One hour later...she runs up to him...after scouring the house for change...gives him a handful of coins and says..."Abba, here is some money for you to buy some clothes, DON'T GIVE ANY TO THE GANENET THIS TIME!" She has such the motherly instinct, truely concerned about everybody!
She is something special that one!
Shahar, is practicing walking all the time...still doesn't have too much confidence in herself, but she is working on it. She is so obsessed with belly buttons now, that it is hard to get her to take 3 steps without her lifting up her shirt and checking to see if her belly button is still there. We reassure her and continue to practice :-) She also understands everything now. For example, bring me a leaf (she'll go and get one), bring me a flower (she'll go and get one), where are your ears, eyes, nose, mouth, tongue, belly button(of course), head...etc.... It doesn't matter what language you speak (Hebrew or English)...she has got it down! she is still only saying a few things clearly (Imma, abba, Ouzo, light), but she is a chatter box in her own language.
With girls like these...it is just so easy to be their mom!
