Update:
Shahar is 5 months old and hitting all the milestones quite nicely. She turns over without a problem from her stomach to her back. She is also doing 360's on her stomach...but still can't scootch, although she is trying her hardest. Shahar can also sit quite steadily, but topples over the second we let her go. She loves to sit in her bouncer and put her feet up on the arch of toys and grabs both her feet. Swimming class is becoming a breeze for her, diving and kicking the ball with her legs has now become second nature. She is still only breastfed, but by the end of the month we will be trying solids, so we shall see how that goes. Boy Shahar sure does have her own personality...she has got some lungs on her....there is no middle ground...she goes from 0 to 10 in seconds. But she is all smiles most of the time. On average Shahar sleeps 10 hours a night, but just when we start thinking that's it, we can count on it...well then she suddenly wakes up every 5 hours screaming her head off. Of course like all parents, we blame it on teething, but we have yet to see a pearly white break through.
Noam is our little boss. Telling everyone what to do, how and when to do it. Every morning at 0600 hours she is on her feet and waking us up. It does not matter what time we put her to sleep she will be up like clock-work at the same time every morning. She loves Gan, and comes home and tells us all that she has done for the day, who she played with, who pushed her and who she pushed back. :-) They have an English lesson every Tuesday morning, and not to our surprise, Noam excels at that. Potty training is still an issue. She went 3 days with underwear, and then she asked for her diaper again. We are letting her take the lead, but it seems like a process that is never going to end. She sure has turned into a little lady and makes us laugh all the time. She is our sunshine!
